People try their best to sleep, but for various reasons people cannot sleep. As a result, various mental and physical problems arise and life becomes miserable. A short film titled “Nidrasur” has been made based on the story of such a sleepless man.
Omar Malik has played the role of this sleepless man. Actors Runa Khan, Iqbal Hossain, Sanchita Dutta, Ashiq Sarkar and Kakan Chowdhury have also acted in this film.
About the film, actor Omar Malik said, “I have been acquainted with director Boyati for a long time and I like his work, we have worked together but it has not happened again. But the story of ‘Nidrasur’ attracted me so much that I have finished the work despite facing all the adversities. I hope the film will win the hearts of audience in the country and abroad.”
Actress Runa Khan said, “I have played the role of psychiatrist Ananya. For the first time I have worked in such a role. In the film, the director has focused on a deep crisis in our urban mechanical life. I really liked the choice of subject for the film.”
Sohel Rana Boyati has made the short film based on the story of Jahangir Hossain Apon.
