Collected PhotoPolice have recovered the bodies of a husband, a wife and their child in Ashulia area of Savar in the city. However, the names of the deceased were not immediately known.
Their bodies were recovered from the house owned by Hazrat Ali in the central Jamgarh area of Ashulia, Savar on Friday (September 5) night.
According to the locals, the doors and windows of that room were always closed. They rented the house by introducing themselves as husband and wife. They immediately called the police after a foul smell came from that room last night. After receiving the news, the police went and recovered the bodies. In addition, the CID forensic team came in the morning and collected various evidences.
Duty Officer (SI) of Ashulia Police Station Russell Hossain said, “A foul smell was coming from that room. Later, based on the information from the locals, the police visited the scene and recovered the bodies of the deceased. The deceased include a husband and wife and their children.”
He said that her husband had a towel wrapped around his neck.
