The Bangladesh Embassy in Lebanon is working with the relevant local authorities to complete the necessary formalities for the repatriation of their mortal remains. It is also in touch with the family members of the deceased persons.
Reiterating its concern over the ongoing violence in the region, Bangladesh urged all sides to exercise maximum restraint and comply with international humanitarian law.
“Bangladesh reiterates its deep concern over the continuing violence and loss of civilian lives in the region and calls for maximum restraint and adherence to international humanitarian law,” the statement added.
