CVASU Hosts Session on Redefining Fitness for a Healthier Body and Mind

A session titled “Redefining Fitness for a Healthier Body and Mind” was held at Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU) on Saturday, aiming to promote physical and mental well-being among students.

The program was organized by the Rotaract Club of CVASU in collaboration with the university’s Student Welfare Department at the university auditorium.

Vice-Chancellor of CVASU, Professor Dr. Mohammad Lutfur Rahman, attended the event as the chief guest. The session was chaired by Professor Dr. Mohammad Rashedul Alam.

Special guests included Professor Dr. Md. Nurul Haque, Engineer Md. Matiur Rahman, Samina Islam, and Abdullah Al Milon.

The welcome speech was delivered by Swapnil Mahmud, while the event was hosted by Israt Jahan and Tabassum Tasnova Khanom.

The keynote speaker, Abu Sufian Taj, emphasized the importance of physical fitness, healthy dietary habits, mental well-being, and maintaining a balanced lifestyle. His interactive and practical presentation drew enthusiastic participation from the audience.

Students actively engaged in the session, particularly during the question-and-answer segment, where participants had the opportunity to interact directly with the speaker.

At the end of the program, guests and speakers were honored with crests, while certificates were distributed among the participants.

The event was sponsored by the Rotaract Club of Chittagong Khulshi.
