Jaya Ahsan has kicked off the year by winning the Best Actress (Critics) award for her outstanding performance in the film “Putulnacher Itikotha.” She shared the exciting news on her official Facebook page.
The award was presented at the “Binodoner Shera 24” ceremony, organised by the Kolkata-based television channel Zee 24 Ghanta. Jaya wrote on Facebook, “Honoured to receive the First Award of the Year for ‘Putulnacher Itikotha’ in the Best Actress (Critics) category at @zee24ghanta_ ’s Binodoner Shera 24. Grateful and humbled.”
Her role in the film has already earned widespread praise from both critics and audiences. With her sensitive portrayal, emotional depth, and nuanced expression, many have regarded her performance as one of the year’s finest.
“Putulnacher Itikotha” is directed by Suman Mukhopadhyay and features a stellar cast including Abir Chatterjee, Parambrata Chattopadhyay, and Ananya Chatterjee in prominent roles alongside Jaya Ahsan.
