The families of the six newborns who died at Ad-din Hospital in Moghbazar, Dhaka, will each receive Tk80 lakh in compensation, the hospital authorities have decided.
The information was confirmed on Sunday by the institution's lawyer, Shishir Manir.
He said the amount was determined through a joint discussion between the affected families and the hospital authorities.

Earlier, Ad-din Hospital announced compensation packages for the bereaved families, including lifetime free medical treatment, educational support, and job opportunities.
The hospital made the announcement at a press conference, pledging long-term support for the affected families.
