A membership information and ownership document verification program of The Bhola Municipal Cooperative Credit Society Limited (Registration No. 351 BD, dated May 17, 2027) was held in a festive atmosphere on Sunday (7 June) at the Bhola District Council Auditorium.
The initiative was organized to update members’ information, develop an accurate database, and further strengthen the operational activities of the organization.
During the program, members submitted and verified various documents, including share ownership certificates, birth registration certificates, inheritance certificates, nominee-related documents, savings deposit receipts, share certificates, and other necessary supporting papers.
The event was attended by Md. Abul Kalam Azad, Chairman of the Interim Management Committee and Upazila Cooperative Officer of Daulatkhan, Bhola. Md. Ibrahim, Inspector of the District Cooperative Office, Bhola, and Md. Zahir Raihan, Assistant Inspector of the Upazila Cooperative Office, Bhola Sadar, also participated in the verification activities.
Md. Abdul Matin, Assistant Registrar of the District Cooperative Office, Bhola, remained present throughout the program and closely monitored the verification process.
The program began at 9:00 AM and continued uninterrupted until 4:00 PM. A large number of society members participated enthusiastically, submitting their documents for verification. Local dignitaries, journalists, social workers, and individuals from various professions were also present.
Organizers said the verification and updating of member information would enhance transparency, accountability, and good governance within the society. They expressed hope that similar initiatives would continue in the future to ensure the organization’s effective and sustainable operation.
