Bangladesh recorded seven more deaths from measles-like symptoms in the 24 hours until 8:00am on Sunday, raising the total number of fatalities linked to the disease to 620.
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) classified the latest deaths as suspected measles cases.
With the latest figures, the number of suspected measles deaths has risen to 529, while the number of confirmed deaths remained unchanged at 91.
A total of 1,221 new suspected measles cases were reported during the same period, taking the overall number of infections to 79,012.
The DGHS also reported 66 new confirmed measles cases in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of confirmed infections nationwide to 9,686.
According to the DGHS, a total of 64,263 suspected measles patients have been hospitalised since 15 March. Of them, 60,084 have recovered.
