File PhotoThe Amar Ekushey Book Fair 2027 will begin on January 7 and continue until February 6, Bangla Academy has announced.A notification signed by Bangla Academy Director General Professor Mohammad Azam on Sunday said the dates had been finalised following consultations with publishers’ representatives.
A preparatory meeting for the annual book fair was held at the Shaheed Munier Chowdhury Conference Room of Bangla Academy on October 13, according to the notification.
Cultural Affairs Minister Nitai Roy Chowdhury chaired the meeting, which was attended by Cultural Affairs Adviser Dr Zahed Ur Rahman and Ministry Secretary Yasmin Begum, the notification said.
