Online admission applications for Class XI and Alim courses for the new academic year began on Wednesday (September 2), with students able to submit their preliminary applications until 8pm on September 10 by paying the prescribed fee through the designated online platform.
Admission will be based entirely on students’ SSC and equivalent examination results, with no admission tests. Students will be selected on merit according to their academic results.
Under the Education Ministry’s admission policy, 7 percent of seats will be reserved under various quotas, while the remaining 93 percent will be open to general applicants.
Dhaka Education Board Chairman and Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee Convener Prof Syed Akhtaruzzaman confirmed the overall admission schedule.
Students awaiting re-scrutiny results will be allowed to apply or revise their choice lists from September 12 to 13 until 8pm. The results of the first-phase selection will be published on the night of September 17.
Selected students must complete their initial confirmation by 8pm on September 19. Failure to confirm within the deadline will result in cancellation of the application.
After confirmation, the final admission process will be completed from September 20 to 22, with classes for newly admitted Class XI students scheduled to begin on September 23.
