The results of this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations have been published, with the pass rate in the Dakhil examination under the Madrasah Education Board standing at 55.49 per cent.
According to the published results, a total of 296,982 candidates appeared in the Dakhil examination at 741 centres across the country this year. Of them, 164,797 passed, while 6,176 students obtained GPA-5.
The average pass rate across the country’s 11 education boards stood at 62.25 per cent, down from 68.45 per cent in 2025.
Compared with last year, this year’s pass rate declined by 6.2 percentage points.
Education Minister Dr ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon announced the results at a press conference held in the conference room of the Secondary and Higher Education Division under the Ministry of Education at around 10:00 am on Monday (August 10).
