Applications for re-scrutiny of Bangladesh's SSC and equivalent examination results opened on Tuesday and will remain open until August 17, allowing students to seek a review of marks they believe were incorrect.
Applications must be submitted online through the designated portal. Education boards will not accept applications directly or in writing.
The re-scrutiny fee is Tk 150 per subject. For subjects with two papers, such as Bangla and English, students must apply for both papers together. Fees can be paid online through bKash, Nagad and Sonali Seva.
Students must enter their roll and registration numbers on the portal, select their education board and provide a valid mobile number. Revised results will be sent by SMS to that number after the re-scrutiny process.
Subjects can be added or changed before the fee is paid. Once payment is completed, selected subjects cannot be changed, cancelled or modified, and fees are non-refundable.
The results of the 2026 SSC and equivalent examinations were published nationwide on Monday at 10 a.m. Students can check their results through education board websites, their institutions or by SMS.
To receive results by SMS, students can send a message to 16140 or 16222. For 16140, the format is "SSC", followed by the first three letters of the education board, the roll number and 2026.
The overall pass rate this year was 62.25%, the lowest in 19 years. The re-scrutiny process offers students a final opportunity to seek changes to their results.
