A group of miscreants hacked a BNP leader with sharp weapons in the capital’s Mohammadpur area on Friday.
Noor Islam, senior joint secretary at BNP’s Ward 33 unit, was seriously injured in the attack that took place at Road No 4, Sat Masjid Housing area in Mohammadpur.
According to eyewitnesses, four miscreants on motorbikes approached Noor Islam and hacked him indiscriminately, before fleeing the scene.
