Police arrested two alleged drug dealers and recovered 10,500 yaba tablets and Tk 58 lakh in cash during a raid in Tongi of Gazipur last night.
The arrestees are Md Anwar Hossain, 36, and Md Shawon, 26, both originally from Narsingdi.
Acting on a tip-off, police raided a rented flat on Salamat Molla Road area under Tongi West Police Station around 10:00pm and arrested the duo along with the yaba tablets and cash, said Tongi West Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md Arifur Rahman.
The two arrestees will be produced before a court later in the day, he said.
