Eleven more children died from measles and related symptoms in the 24 hours till Friday morning.
Among the deceased, nine had measles-like symptoms, while two were confirmed measles cases, according to the latest report from the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) released on Friday.
During the same period, 1,315 new infections were reported nationwide.
DGSH also said that in the past two months alone, 499 children died from measles and related symptoms across the country. Of them, 85 deaths were confirmed as measles, while 414 were linked to measles-like symptoms.
In the same period, 8,329 cases of confirmed measles infection were recorded through laboratory testing. Additionally, 60,540 patients were admitted to hospitals with measles-like symptoms.
