Six crude bombs recovered near judges’ entrance at SC

Police have recovered six crude bombs from beside the main entrance used by judges at the Supreme Court in Dhaka this afternoon.

The bombs were recovered around 1:30pm, said Md Khokon Mia, inspector (operations) of Shahbagh Police Station.

According to him, the crude bombs were found abandoned on the right side of the judges’ main entrance.

Later, a team from the bomb disposal unit arrived at the scene and safely defused the bombs without causing any damage, the inspector added.
