Global oil prices rose on Wednesday after US President Donald Trump refused to ease sanctions on Iran, with Brent crude topping $103 per barrel.
According to Al Jazeera, Brent crude rose $1.14, or 1.11%, to $103.73 a barrel. US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude gained 34 cents, or 0.38%, to $89.72 a barrel.
Global oil prices had earlier fallen as oil supplies from the Middle East increased. Brent was on track for a nearly 14% monthly gain, its biggest since last July.
WTI was also on course to rise about 4% this month. It had previously crossed $106 a barrel for the first time since May.
