File PhotoPower, Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Iqbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku has returned home after receiving treatment at a hospital for a lung infection, cold, cough and breathing difficulties.
The minister’s personal assistant, Abdullah Al Kayes, confirmed the matter on Saturday (September 5) night.
He said the minister returned home from the hospital after 9:00 PM on Saturday. Following observation by doctors, his condition has improved and he is now out of danger.
Earlier, on the night of September 1, Iqbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku was admitted to Ibrahim Cardiac Hospital in the capital after falling ill. During his treatment there, he received medical care for a lung infection, cold, cough and breathing difficulties.
He was discharged from the hospital after his physical condition improved following treatment.
