Collected PhotoPower, Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Iqbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku has been admitted to a hospital in Dhaka after falling ill.
He was taken to Ibrahim Cardiac Hospital at around 10:30 PM on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir visited Iqbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku at the hospital on Wednesday morning.
The President reached Ibrahim Cardiac Hospital at 9:30 AM and inquired about the minister's health from the attending doctors.
BNP media cell member Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed the matter.
It is learned that Iqbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku had been suffering from fever, cold, cough, and respiratory difficulties for the past few days. He was rushed to the emergency department of Ibrahim Cardiac Hospital at around 10:30 PM and later shifted to the Coronary Care Unit (CCU).
