File PhotoThe Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has launched an investigation into former interim government Youth and Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain and four others over alleged corruption and irregularities in the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The development was confirmed by ACC sources on Wednesday.
According to media reports, the commission has decided to investigate the involvement of five people, including Asif Mahmud, in alleged corruption and irregularities in the ministry’s activities.
The ACC has formally begun the investigation to verify the allegations, the sources said.
