File PhotoBNP Standing Committee Member and Prime Minister's Political Adviser Mirza Abbas is scheduled to return home on September 2 after undergoing treatment in Singapore and Malaysia for an extended period.
Confirming the matter, BNP Media Cell member Shairul Kabir Khan said Mirza Abbas is expected to arrive in Dhaka on a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight at around 9:00pm on Wednesday (September 2).
After receiving treatment in Singapore and Malaysia for an extended period, Mirza Abbas has recovered considerably and is returning home from Malaysia following the advice of his medical board, Shairul said.
He said the BNP leader had been undergoing treatment in the two countries for a long time and decided to return home following recommendations from his medical board.
