A press release from the Home Ministry on Saturday midnight said that the minister is scheduled to leave Dhaka on an Emirates Airlines flight at 1:40 am.

The two-day conference will be held in New York on July 7 and 8. During the visit, the minister will participate in various plenary sessions, including the opening ceremony at the UN General Assembly Hall on July 8.

This year's conference will discuss three important issues: 'Future Framework for UN Police', 'Innovation and New Technologies in UN Policing' and 'Enhancing International Cooperation to Address Interstate Challenges'.

The Home Minister will also attend a high-level dinner organized as a side event of the conference.

While in New York, Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed will hold bilateral meetings with UN Under-Secretary-General for Operational Support Atul Khare, Under-Secretary-General for Peace Operations Jean-Pierre Lacroix, and Under-Secretary-General for Political and Peacebuilding Rosemary A. DiCarlo.
