Ahead of the 13th National Parliamentary Election, the Shop Owners' Association has decided to keep all shops, commercial establishments and shopping malls closed in Dhaka and across the country on February 11 and 12 (Wednesday and Thursday).
The association confirmed the matter on Saturday (February 7).
It said the voting and a referendum for the national election will be held on February 12. To facilitate the exercise of voting rights and in line with a government decision, all shops, commercial establishments and shopping malls nationwide will remain closed on February 11 and 12.
