Three people were killed and two others injured in a collision between two human haulers in Rajshahi's Bagha upazila on Monday morning.
The accident occurred on Bagha-Lalpur road at about 7AM.
Police, however, kept the bodies at police station.
According to eyewitnesses, a Bagha-bound CNG-run autorickshawa collided head-on with a human hauler (locally known as votvoti) on the Bagha-Lalpur road, leaving two dead on the spot and others injured.
One of the injured succumbed to his wounds on the way to Upazila Health Complex. Later the injured were shifted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital.
The deceased were identified as CNG driver Shariful Islam, 45, passengers Bidhan Das, 55, and Rokena Begum, 90.
Local resident Alamgir Hossain said the accident might have took place due to poor visibility caused by fog.
