A mild earthquake was felt in parts of Bangladesh, including Chittagong, in the early hours of Tuesday.
The tremor measuring 4.9-magnitude on the Richter scale was recorded at 12:55AM, said meteorologist Shahnaj Sultana of Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).
The epicentre was in Myanmar's Mingin, about 431km southeast of the BMD Seismic Centre in Agargaon, she added.
