Some miscreants set fire to a parked truck in Aruapara area of Kushtia town early Sunday chanting slogan ‘Joy Bangla,’.
However, no casualties were reported.
A 51-second video shows that two youths were setting fire to the truck’s rear wheel around 3:30am and one of them wearing a helmet shouted the slogan ‘Joy Bangla’ moments after igniting the fire.
Officer-in-charge Mosharraf Hossain of Kushtia Model Police Station said they are aware of the matter and working to identify the accused.
During the incident, the trucker and his assistant were asleep inside the vehicle and came out sensing the smell of smoke, he said.
