A fugitive who was awarded life imprisonment in a drug case by a judicial court in Cox’s Bazar, has been arrested by RAB on February 23, 2025.
The arrestee Helal Uddin (29), son of Delwar Hussen, a dweller of Haserdighi village of Chakoria sub-district (upazila) under Cox's Bazar district.
RAB Said, Convicted Helal was roaming one place to another to avoid arrest. Consequently, he was able to camouflage himself from law enforcers' for a long time. On a secret information, Personnel of RAB-15 apprehended him from Haserdighi village after conducting a special operation at the village in the dusk of February 23, 2025.
The arrestee has been handed over to Chakoria Police station for taking action legally.
A.M Faruk an ASP and Assistant Director (media and Law officer) RAB-15, has confirmed the matter on behalf of the captain of RAB -15 through a text.
