All Q-Cash services including ATMs, cards, and POS terminals across 30 banks have resumed after remaining suspended for two days.
IT Consultants PLC (ITC), the operator of Q-Cash, shared this update on Tuesday night.
Earlier, on Sunday (October 4) after 9:00 pm, various card and transaction services across nearly 30 banks were interrupted due to a system migration within the Q-Cash network. This disruption temporarily halted ATM, POS, and card transactions, as well as certain interbank services.
Following the interruption, Bangladesh Bank summoned the management authority of Q-Cash, instructing them to restore services immediately. Subsequently, on Tuesday night, Q-Cash announced that all services under its network had returned to normal.
In a text message to its customers, Bank Asia also confirmed that its ATM, card, POS, NPSB, e-commerce, and QR services are fully functional and customers can transact as usual.
