
BNP Standing Committee member and prime minister’s political adviser Mirza Abbas has been acquitted in 15 corruption cases filed in 2007 over the alleged sale of 18 government houses without tenders.
The cases were filed over allegations of corruption involving Tk 127 crore 64 lakh 19 thousand and 59 in connection with the sale of the government houses.
Dhaka Special Judge Court-3 judge Md Kamrul Hasan Khan pronounced the verdict on Thursday.
