Jamaat-e-Islami activists must avoid the simplest flaws as growing popularity for the party and its pro-Islamic stance would naturally increase public scrutiny and rebuke, said Ameer Shafiqur Rahman on Friday.
Previously people considered Jamaat as an “ineffective party,” but now, many have changed their views to see the Islamic party as a strong contender for forming government, the party chief said at a conference of regional unit chiefs held in Rangpur Model College.
In this backdrop, the party members will have to be more cautious about their actions and transactions, he said.
