BNP Standing Committee member Adv. Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed has been nominated as the acting secretary general of the party.
This information was given in a notification on Thursday.
The notification said that in accordance with Section 7 (b) 6 of the BNP constitution, BNP National Standing Committee member Adv. Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed has been nominated as the acting secretary general of the party.
It further said that this nomination will be effective immediately.
Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed is currently serving as the Prime Minister's Advisor with the rank of Minister. Before this, he served as the senior joint secretary general of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party for a long time.
