Inspired by true events, a 20-episode web series titled “Chokro” was released on the OTT platform iScreen in 2024. Directed by Vicky Zahed, the psychological thriller featured Tawsif Mahbub and Tasnia Farin in the lead roles and quickly captured the attention of viewers with its dark, suspenseful narrative and unsettling atmosphere.

Following the strong response to the first season, the creators announced a second instalment later that same year. After months of anticipation, the project has now been completed and is set to be released this Eid-ul-Fitr. Much like its predecessor, the upcoming season promises an intense and spine-chilling storyline that delves deeper into the mystery introduced in the first part.

Today, director Vicky Zahed shared a grisly yet catchy poster for the series on social media, teasing fans about the series' continuation. In the caption, he hinted at the darker psychological layers awaiting audiences.

“The devil seeks out happy homes,” the director wrote. “When the devil takes the form of the person closest to you, there is no way left to escape. What was the real truth behind the cursed Adam family of Mymensingh?”

The story picks up exactly where the first season ended, at a moment when the mystery surrounding the Adam family reached a suffocating climax. According to the director, the new season will introduce an even more complex psychological game, raising questions about whether the disturbing events are the result of shared hallucinations or something far more sinister.

With heightened suspense and unanswered questions, “Chokro” Season 2 aims to keep audiences on edge. Viewers will once again have to piece together clues as the haunting mystery unfolds on iScreen this Eid-ul-Fitr.
