Six members of a family have suffered burn injuries in a gas line explosion at a home in Dhaka’s Agargaon.
The injured have been identified as Md Jalil Mia- 50, Aneja Begum- 40, Asif Mia- 19, Sakib Mia- 16, Eva- 6, and Monira Akter- 17.
All of them were admitted to the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery in the capital around 7:45 am on Saturday, December 6.
One Arfan Mia, who took them to the hospital, said a fire erupted at House No. 204/F beside Paka Market Islamic Foundation from a gas line leak in the early hours of today.
Shaon Bin Rahman, a resident doctor at the burn institute, stated that they were performing dressings on the patients and said more details in this regard would be provided later.
