The retail price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) has been revised for November. The price of a 12-kg LPG cylinder has been reduced by Tk26 — from Tk1,241 to Tk1,215.
The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) announced the new prices on Sunday (November 2), which will take effect in the evening.
The price of autogas (LPG used in vehicles) has also been reduced — from Tk56.77 per litre to Tk55.58.
Earlier in October, the price of a 12-kg LPG cylinder was reduced by Tk29 to Tk1,241, while the price of autogas was decreased by Tk1.38 to Tk56.77 per litre.
According to BERC data, LPG and autogas prices were reduced four times and increased seven times in 2024. Prices remained unchanged once. Increases occurred in January, February, March, July, August, September, and October, while decreases were recorded in April, May, June, and November. Prices remained unchanged in December.
