NBR extends tax return filing deadline again

The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has again extended the deadline for individual taxpayers to file income tax returns by one month.

The tax authority said it will accept returns for the tax year 2025–26 until January 31, according to a special order issued today.

Earlier, it extended the deadline by one month to December 30.

The NBR said the deadline was extended in the public interest.
