The Training and Communication Wing of Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) has arranged a BARI Innovative Technology Exhibition and Exchange view Program for Young Entrepreneurs at the Institute's Kazi Badruddoza auditorium (27 August 2025).
Students of BARI High School, young agricultural entrepreneurs and various stakeholders related to agriculture participated in this program. The program has organized a part of the celebration of "Youth Festival-2025".
BARI’s Director (Training and communication) Dr. Md. Ataur Rahman presided over the session while Director (Support & Services) Dr. Ashraf Uddin Ahmed was present as chief guest. At this time, Chief Scientific Officer (Training and Communication) Dr. Md. Obaidullah Kaisar gave short brief presentation of BARI. Director (Planning & Evaluation) Dr. Md. Abdur Rashid; Director (Horticulture Research Centre) Dr. Faruque Ahmed and Director (Tuber Crops Research Center) Dr. Md. Matiar Rahman were present as special guests in this program. Divisional Head and Senior scientists from various center/division/section of BARI were present there also. A seminar was held after the inauguration of the exhibition. The program was conducted by Scientific Officer (Training and Communication Wing) Dr. Syeda Tasnim Jannat. The "Youth Festival" program was co-ordinated by Senior Scientific Officer (Training and Communication Wing) Dr. Md. Mizanur Rahman.
The exhibition program was inaugurated by the Director (Support & Services) Dr. Ashraf Uddin Ahmed cutting the ribbon. Various improved varieties, modern cultivation methods, environment-friendly agricultural technologies and exportable agricultural products invented by BARI were displayed at the exhibition program. The participants got acquainted with these technologies and visited various exhibition stalls. The organizing authorities expressed their hope that this program will help in creating interest in agriculture among the youth and developing agriculture-based entrepreneurs.
