May Day was celebrated in Jamalpur with colorful arrangements.
On the occasion of the day, Jamalpur District Administration, Department of Factories and Institutions Inspection jointly took out a rally from the city's Faujdari Mor and ended in front of the Deputy Commissioner's office on Thursday morning.
Later, in a discussion meeting organized in the Deputy Commissioner's conference room, Deputy Commissioner Hasina Begum, Additional Superintendent of Police Yahia Al Mamun, Civil Surgeon Dr. Md. Azizul Haque, District BNP General Secretary Advocate Shah Md. Wares Ali Mamun and others spoke.
On the other hand, Jamalpur District Nationalist Workers' Party took out a colorful rally from in front of the city's DC Park to mark the day.
The rally circled the main road and came to the city's Tamaltola Mor. At this time, District BNP Joint General Secretary Firoz Mia, Jubo Dal leader Ziaul Haque Zia, Sramik Dal leader Rezaul Karim Nilu, Saju and others spoke. On the other hand, various labor organizations including Udichi Shilpi Gosthi, Communist Party of Bangladesh and others held rallies and gatherings.
