An exceptional program 'Krishi Katha', based on the 27th point of the 31-point state reform proposed by Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, has been held in Chandpur for the first time with the participation of farmers.
The event was organized on Thursday evening (April 24) at the Sachar Multipurpose High School grounds in Kachua Upazila of Chandpur. The inaugurator, chief guest and special guest of this event were all farmers from remote areas, with the exception of the farmers from the remote areas.
This beautiful program was presided over by Engineer Habibur Rahman, former Organizing Secretary of Australia BNP and resident of Kachua.
This play portrays the real picture of agricultural reforms, one of the phases of Tareq Zia's Bangladesh reforms. Through this play, the current picture and future plans of agriculture and farmers are presented.
The various parts of the play highlight how the country's agricultural sector can be modernized and technologically enriched in line with the world and how the country's agriculture can be brought into competition in the global market. Local farmers and notable dramatists from the country's theater scene participate in various roles in the play. The overall management of this entire play of agricultural talk was expatriate BNP leader Habibur Rahman.
Hundreds of farmers and people from different professions from the Sachar area enjoyed the play in a beautiful atmosphere in the early evening.
In his speech as the president, Engineer Habibur Rahman said, "I have not been able to come to the country for a long time due to my stay abroad. When I came back to the country after the fall of the fascist Hasina government on August 5, I immediately saw Tareq Zia's 31-point state reform. Among them, agricultural reform is the 27th point. It gives me great interest and encouragement to work on this point in building the country."
He also said, "Since childhood, I wanted to become a farmer. But despite my desire, I could not become a farmer. However, I want to do something for the farmers of my country. As a part of that, I have a small event today. I urge everyone to come forward to realize the dream of martyr President Ziaur Rahman for the farmers."
The entire program was hosted by Channel 24's Head of Digital Rajib Khan and presenter Shahrin Jabin. Farmers spoke on the program highlighting their real problems. Kachua Upazila Agriculture Officer Mejbah Uddin spoke, mentioning various questions of farmers and the facilities provided by the government.
