48th founding anniversary of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) was observed in Bhola with due solemnity and festive fervor. To mark the day on Tuesday (September 1), the Bhola District BNP organized day-long programs.
In the morning, a colorful rally was brought out in the town under the leadership of Bhola District BNP Convener Alhaj Golam Nabi Alamgir and conducted by Member Secretary Alhaj Raisul Alam. The rally paraded key streets of the town before concluding at noon at the district BNP office.
Alongside district BNP leaders and activists, a large number of members from various associate organizations—including Jubo Dal, Swechchhasebak Dal, Krishak Dal, Sramik Dal, and Chhatra Dal—spontaneously participated in the rally.
Later, during a discussion meeting held at the party office, district BNP leaders emphasized that the party has consistently worked to safeguard people's rights and establish democracy. Upholding the ideals of the party's founder, the late President Ziaur Rahman, leaders reaffirmed their commitment to working for national development and public welfare, while also promising to implement all party commitments made to the public.
