Collected PhotoA cultural competition participating students from primary, secondary, and vocational schools was grandly inaugurated in Madhupur, Tangail, organized by the Madhupur Upazila Administration on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam.
The event was organized by the Upazila Administration on Monday (August 31) morning at the Upazila Parishad Hall Room.
Madhupur Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md. Saiful Islam presided over the ceremony. Among others, Madhupur Upazila BNP President Zakir Hossain Sarkar, Madhupur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) A.K.M. Fazlul Haque, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Naeem Uddin, Pourashava BNP President Khurram Yusuf Zai Prince, Pourashava BNP General Secretary Khondokar Abdul Motalib, and Academic Supervisor Mohiuddin were present.
Officials from various levels of the upazila administration, teachers and students from primary, secondary, and vocational educational institutions across the upazila, along with local dignitaries, attended the inaugural ceremony.
Students participated in various events, including recitation of national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam's poems, Nazrul Sangeet, and literary-cultural activities. During the discussion segment, speakers emphasized the importance of such events in spreading the national poet's life ideals and literary works among the new generation, as well as nurturing their intellectual and creative growth.
