The results of the Primary Scholarship Examination have been published, with a total of 79,246 students receiving scholarships this year.
Of them, 32,965 students have been awarded scholarships under the Talentpool category, while 46,281 students have received scholarships under the General category.
The results were officially announced at around 12:45 pm on Sunday (July 12) at a press conference held at the International Mother Language Institute in Segunbagicha, Dhaka. The announcement was made by Education and Primary and Mass Education Adviser Dr ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon.
Speaking after the announcement, Milon said the process of uploading the results had begun immediately after the declaration.
"The Directorate General has informed us that it may take around two to two and a half hours to complete the entire uploading process. The names of scholarship recipients from all districts and upazilas will be made available on the website in phases," he said.
