Faisal Karim Masud and his associate Alamgir Hossain, the two main accused in the murder case of convener of Inquilab Moncho Shaheed Osman Hadi, have been produced in India’s West Bengal court.
After a 14-day remand, they were produced before the special court of Bidhannagar subdivision of North 24 Parganas district on Sunday (March 22).
While questioned about Hadi's murder, Faisal stated, "I did not commit this act. I was not involved in any such activity."
He was earlier taken to the Bidhannagar sub-division hospital for a physical test where he did not respond to any questions.
On March 7, Faisal and Alamgir were arrested by West Bengal Police during a raid in the border area of Bongaon, adjacent to Bangladesh.
They were later placed on a 14-day remand by a court there.
