United States Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has been speaking to Fox News and said “tonight will be our biggest bombing campaign” against Iran.
He said the US attack will “do the most damage to the Iranian missile launchers, the factories that build the missiles, and we are substantially degrading them”.
Bessent has also accused Iran of “trying to create economic chaos”, pointing to Tehran’s control of the Strait of Hormuz.
