The new book Faith Mobile by writer Nafis Sadique Shatil has been released at the Amar Ekushey Book Fair. Published by Anuvab Prokashoni, the book is a travel novel written primarily for teenage readers. The 64-page publication features cover artwork by Charu Pintu and is priced at BDT 200.
The book is available directly from Anuvab Prokashoni’s stall (No. 125) at the book fair. It is also being sold on the popular online book platform Rokomari, making it easily accessible to readers outside the fairgrounds as well.
Faith Mobile is a teen-oriented travel novel that centers on journeys, new places, and the questions and realizations that emerge along the way. Written in simple language with short chapters and a fast-paced narrative, the book aligns naturally with the reading habits of young readers.
Speaking about the book, author Nafis Sadique Shatil said, “I wanted teenage readers not only to enjoy the excitement of travel, but also to find a space within the story to question themselves. Travel brings people face to face with new realities, and in the process, it can unsettle the boundaries of belief and thought—this is the feeling I wanted to capture.”
The author further noted that there is a growing need for stories for teenagers that offer intellectual engagement alongside entertainment. Faith Mobile was planned and written with that intention in mind.
Blending travel, curiosity, and self-exploration, the book has emerged as a thoughtful and engaging addition for young readers at this year’s book fair, drawing particular attention from visitors.
