Two teenagers sustained injuries during a clash between Myanmar armed groups along the border in Teknaf upazila on Tuesday morning.

According to BGB and locals, Mohammad Sohel, 13, and Obaidullah, 15, sustained gunshot wounds when fishing in the Naf river around 11am.

BGB 64 Battalion Captain Lt Col Md Johirul Islam said border patrols have been beefed up in the area following the incident.

On 11 January, a child named Afnan sustained injuries to her head from a stray bullet in Whykong union of Teknaf upazila. She was later referred to Dhaka for advanced treatment.
