A drug dealer named Md. Ayan Islam Rony (25) has been arrested by members of Bangladesh Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-9) with 341 bottles of Indian Phencidyl and 27 kg of marijuana in Bijoynagar, Brahmanbaria.
He was arrested at around 2:30 pm on Saturday (January 25) from Bijoynagar upazila.
The arrested drug dealer Md. Ayan Islam Rony, is the son of Md. Mostafa Kamal, a resident of Amtali village in Nabinagar upazila of Brahmanbaria.
Confirming the arrest of Ayan, Assistant Superintendent of Police of RAB-9, Sylhet, Md. Mashihur Rahman Sohel said, that based on a secret tip-off, a team of RAB-9, CPC- 3, Brahmanbaria arrested him red-handed along with 341 bottles of phensidyl and 27 kg of ganja from Bijoynagar. Later, a case was filed against him under the relevant sections of the Narcotics Control Act and he was handed over to Bijoynagar Police Station.
