The namaz-e-janaza of former prime minister and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia will be led by Mufti Abdul Malek, the khatib of the national mosque Baitul Mukarram.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said that the janaza prayers will be held on Wednesday at 2:00pm across the South Plaza of the National Parliament and the adjoining Manik Mia Avenue. The khatib of Baitul Mukarram will lead the prayers.
The entire event will be conducted by BNP Standing Committee member Nazrul Islam Khan.
After the janaza, Begum Khaleda Zia will be buried beside her husband, martyred president Ziaur Rahman.
