Prof Sayedur Rahman has been reappointed as special assistant to the chief adviser for the health ministry.
The cabinet division issued a gazette in this regard today. Prof Sayedur also confirmed his reappointment.
On Tuesday, the cabinet issued a gazette confirming his resignation.
Sources at the health ministry said Prof Sayedur was as special assistant in November last year on deputation while discharging as vice chancellor of Bangladesh Medical University.
Last month, he went to retirement from the medical university and offered his resignation letter facilitate his retirement procedure, they said.
