“Bachelor Point” season 5 is stirring up fresh excitement—this time with a surprise entry by Orchita Sporshia.
Kajol Arefin Ome’s fan-favourite series continues to level up as familiar faces Kabila, Habu, Pasha, and Nehal return to their chaotic bachelor flat—along with Zakir. But the real buzz this week is all about Sporshia joining the cast as a brand-new character.
The director had teased the surprise earlier with a faceless poster on Facebook, keeping fans guessing.
On Thursday evening, the suspense finally broke when Ome unveiled the official poster, confirming Sporshia as the season’s newest twist.
Speaking to the media, Sporshia said: “I’ve been doing a lot of serious roles in recent years. I wanted something fun, colorful, and more audience-friendly. When the call came from the ‘Bachelor Point’ team, I said yes instantly. This show is already a brand—hugely popular with everyone.”
On working with Kajol Arefin for the first time, she added: “He’s a talented maker. Every artist wants to work with a good director. I’m hopeful our collaboration will create something strong. The rest is up to the audience.”
Ome explained the reason behind bringing her in, saying “Bachelor Point” usually features more male characters. But the female characters from previous seasons were loved by viewers and became popular.
“The story demanded a new character for Season 5, and that’s why we brought Sporshia on board,” he said.
This season’s ensemble includes Marzuk Russell, Ziaul Hoque Polash, Chashi Alam, Mishu Sabbir, Tawsif Mahbub, and others.
“Bachelor Point” season 5 is now streaming on Bongo, and will also be available later on Channel i and Boom Films’ YouTube channel.
