National Award Winning film actress Zakia Bari Momo will be seen as the host of “Prekkhapot,” a popular TV show on the country’s socio-economic issues, from 1 November.
Channel 24 airs the show at 8pm every Saturday.
The first episode hosted by Momo will delve into the Bhabadah waterlogging crisis in Jashore. The episode will show how the crisis has continued to plague people in the areas for years after years.
Momo told reporters that she has decided to host “Prekkhapot” as part of her civic responsibility.
